Our Core Values

Much of Cornerstone’s philosophy of ministry (our core values) are encapsulated in the acronym CORNERSTONE and grounded upon Ephesians 2:20 “Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone”.

Christ-centered… Jesus is the Cornerstone

Our desire… to create an environment of worship where people can experience God’s love and tender mercies

Reaching out… to introduce others to the love, grace, and mercy found in Jesus Christ, through His sacrifice on the cross

Needs… helping to heal and restore the broken and the hurting

Each member… is encouraged to use their God-given gifts to the benefit of all

Relatable and practical preaching and teaching… passionate, sincere, and reflective

Strongly centered and firmly planted… on God’s unchanging Word (the Bible)

The Arts… Cornerstone is committed to glorifying and honoring God through a variety of creative and artistic expressions

Openness… to change and the new things God would do in our lives and church community

Non-traditional music… culturally relevant and delivered with excellence

Everyone… is encouraged to contend for growth and pursue life in the Spirit
