Coffee Talk


Every heart wishes to be understood and to belong. Come be encouraged in a morning filled with music, inspirational stories, prayer and fellowship with the women of Cornerstone.

Coffee Talk is a quarterly women's event that offers women a morning to be encouraged and connect with our community through inspiring stories, creative expression, relevant bible lessons, prayer, and fellowship.

There is no sign up or fee for these events (except the Retreat), and we provide a delicious breakfast - food, coffee, and no dishes for you to wash! Invite your female co-workers, family and friends. All women are welcome! There is no Child-care provided for these events.

  • September 19, 2009 - "Bridging the Generations" (Featuring a panel of women, ages ranging from 20's through 60's)
  • November 21, 2009 - "Childlike Faith in a Grown Up World" with Therese "Pepa" Robertson
  • January 16, 2010 - "Identity - Embracing the Unique 'You' God Created" Extended Coffee Talk Seminar (9:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.) with Karen Habegger, Revel Life Coach and Trainer & Jenny Andrews, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • March 20, 2010 - "From a Man's Perspective..." with Pastor Terry Brisbane
  • April 29-May 1, 2010 - Women's Retreat - Mt. Hermon, Santa Cruz

New this season - Coffee Talk Outreach! We will be creating special opportunities after each event to reach out and make a difference in our city. As each Coffee Talk approaches, check our website each month to see how you can participate and what you can bring to help others in our community.

March 20th Special Coffee Talk Outreach Opportunity with
Cornerstone Church's Mexico Missions Team:

Members of our Cornerstone will spend a week this spring serving at an orphanage in Baja, Mexico. They will be reaching out to the lost, forgotten and broken-hearted in Mexico. We have the opportunity to serve alongside them at our March Coffee Talk by donating new and gently used children's shoes and spending time writing notes of encouragement for the Mexico Missions team members. Please bring your children's shoes donation (for ages 5-18) and/or help us write notes of encouragement on March 20th.
