Urban Ministry offers volunteers an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Christ by serving the poor and marginalized in our community - in the spirit of Isaiah 58.

Urban Ministry Opportunities
City Team Ministries (Map)
UM Coordinator: Sharon Alameda
12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Volunteers will be serving a meal to homeless people from the community, helping to distribute clothing, and performing other services for the homeless as directed by CityTeam staff.
SF Food Bank (Map)
UM Coordinator: Bill Belcher
8:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Volunteers will assist by inspecting, sorting, and packing donated food for distribution to those in need.
Edgewood Center for Children & Families (Map)
UM Coordinator: Diane Alves
8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Volunteers work directly in the kitchen of a group home, interacting with residents and staff while preparing and serving them a meal. Note: Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
